About Me

“As a therapist-in-training, I offer an open and confidential space where you can explore any issue that you wish to bring. This may be a current difficulty that you are experiencing, something connected to the past, or perhaps challenging feelings you are having that you would like to explore, better understand and make meaning of.
I work in an integrative and collaborative way, meaning that I draw upon various schools of thought whilst working alongside you and always respecting the fact that the only expert on yourself – is you!
I believe in the importance of recognising all of the elements that make a person – mental, physical and spiritual.
My own life experience has taught me the immeasurable value and importance of having an impartial person to share innermost thoughts and feelings with, in a safe and contained space. The impact my own therapy has had on my life has led me to train myself.  Prior to training as a therapist I have worked in a variety of sectors.  Alongside my private practice I have also worked as a volunteer at Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester.
I completed my foundation certificate in counselling and psychotherapy in 2018 and am currently in my fifth year of a six year Masters degree course in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy at BCPC in Bath. I hold a UKCP trainee membership.
